Concerned by the direction the world was taking and anxious to offer solutions to the crises experienced in a number of fields, the Ancient and Mystic Order of the Rose-Cross has published three Manifestos over recent years: the Positio Fraternitatis in March 2001, the Appellatio Fraternitatis in January 2014, and the New Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz in January 2016. Brought together in this booklet, these three Manifestos form a trilogy which, not only forms part of the tradition and history of the A.M.O.R.C., but also gives us a good idea of the philosophy currently adhered to by the Rose-Cross. Spirituality, humanism and ecology are the key words of these three complimentary texts. In the Positio Fraternitatis, the Supreme Council of the A.M.O.R.C. gives its opinion on the state of the world, with regards to areas as diverse as politics, economics, science, technology, religion, morality, art, etc. and suggests directions likely to help humanity overcome the problems it faces. L'Appellatio launches an appeal to humanity to make spirituality, humanism and ecology the building blocks of its future. The New Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz takes it inspiration from the Chemical Wedding published in 1616 and reflects the philosophy followed by members of the A.M.O.R.C.
