Guy Aurenche, who has for a long time led Christian action against the use of torture, is now the head of an NGO which celebrated 50 years of existence in 2011: the Catholic Committee Against Hunger and for Development, CCFD. This organisation works in partnership with Southern populations to promote fair and sustainable development. In collaboration with Nathalie Calmé, Guy Aurenche reiterates the extreme urgency of this call for solidarity, in order restore dignity to the humiliated. He also combats those scandals subject men and women all over the world to humiliation, and which ravage our planet. His book brings conviction and action together. He will help everyone to find their place within a world promoting solidarity.
