Sri Aurobindo is one of those uncommon creatures whose work, inextricably linked to the stages and experiences of his own journey, tells the story of a divine life. His teaching, faithful to Vedic cosmology, differs from the traditional classical paths: he has created what he names integral yoga, a synthesis of all the existing yogas, which is a complete education involving working simultaneously on physical, emotional and mental functions, making it possible to open oneself to the supramental energy which creates, animates, organizes, integrates and transforms living matter.
