Description
Ravintsara is a tree from the Lauraceae family. This is why its leaves resemble those of the laurel tree. This tree grows in Madagascar, a country renowned in the world of aromatherapy. Thanks to the country's exceptional biodiversity, the Malagasy people enjoy a wide variety of plants that they use to make essential oils.
However, Ravintsara remains the Malagasy people's favorite oil. In fact, its name means “good leaf.”
The camphor tree is very robust. As proof, it was one of the first trees to grow back after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
Its essential oil has many properties and can be used in cooking, for example, in herbal tea.
